Breaking: The Senate is Preparing to Vote on a More Peaceful World

By Theo Sitther, June 27, 2018

Yesterday, the Elie Wiesel Genocide and Atrocities Prevention Act passed the Senate Foreign Relations Committee with overwhelming bipartisan support!

Please contact your senators now and ask them to vote for this bill when it comes to the Senate floor.

This is a major step forward for the peaceful prevention of deadly conflict. After years of hard work, we are so close to seeing this important legislation become law. But we need your help to get there. Tell your senators to support conflict prevention.

The world seems like it's embroiled in crisis and violence. But this bipartisan bill will help the U.S. better respond to and prevent future atrocities, saving lives and money. This is a ray of hope passing through Congress that the U.S. is willing and able to do more to support peace and prevent violence.

Thank you for all you have already done to shape a more peaceful world. Now, will you build on that work by making sure the Elie Wiesel Act becomes law?
