Block Bomb Sales to Saudi Arabia
For more than two years, the U.S. has actively supported the Saudi-led coalition bombing of Yemen, which has resulted in a humanitarian catastrophe. The U.S. shouldn't be rewarding the killing of civilians by sending more bombs.
Don’t let U.S. bombs kill Yemeni civilians. Please cosponsor S.J.Res.40/H.J.Res.104
- Please cosponsor legislation to challenge the U.S. role in the carnage in Yemen. The bill places important humanitarian conditions onto certain U.S. arms transfers to Saudi Arabia, assuring that Saudi Arabia will take all feasible precautions to reduce the risk of civilian harm.
- This legislation ends U.S. bomb transfers to Saudi Arabia until the President certifies that Saudi Arabia has stopped its indiscriminate killing of civilians and facilitated humanitarian aid access to all parts of Yemen.
- Congress can act to stop the U.S. from fueling the bloodshed in Yemen by signing on to this legislation.
