Friends are invited to come together in a worship space held jointly by Beacon Hill Friends House and the Friends Committee on National Legislation. Join us on Election Day, Nov. 8, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., EST.

In April, 225 Friends gathered online for the event, “The Future of Quakers.” The conversation focused on several queries, including what Friends have to offer during this pandemic and how inward transformation can grow prophetic ministries.

Earlier this month, we received a letter from Mark, who is currently incarcerated. He wrote to let us know how much he appreciated FCNL’s resources on criminal justice reform. He was also wondering if we could provide insights into some of the pieces of legislation making their way through Congress. In his letter, Mark mentioned that he is helping write sentence reduction appeals for other prisoners, and he wants to make sure he’s current on the most recent changes in the law.

Through Visiting Friends virtual and in-person travel to monthly meetings, Friends churches, and other Quaker communities, FCNL volunteers join in meeting for worship, share messages, hear leadings and concerns, and provide spiritual and practical support to knit together Friends’ witness and FCNL’s advocacy for the world we seek.
