Are you interested in becoming more involved with FCNL? Would
you like to become an FCNL Young Adult Contact at your school,
meeting, or church? As a Young Adult Contact, you could create
and sustain an important link between the FCNL office in Washington
and other young adults in your community. Become part of
a network of more than 700 FCNL contacts from across the United
States.
What are the benefits of becoming a FCNL contact?
Sign up to become a FCNL Contact at your school, meeting, university, or any other group.
As an FCNL contact, you will automatically receive our monthly newsletter for free. The newsletter explains federal policies on Iraq, civil rights and other issues, as well as what FCNL plans to do to improve these policies and how you can help.
Contacts often take our monthly letter writing kits to their student organization, youth group, meeting or church to write letters to Congress every month about important topics. These projects are a great way to spark conversations about peace and other issues and get more people involved in advocacy. You could put a letter-writing table in your school cafeteria or commons.
You’ll also receive announcements about and registration forms for upcoming FCNL events, such as our Annual Meeting and Young Adult Spring Lobby Weekend. Share these resources with your friends and classmates or get them to log on to our website as well!
Many people feel that our national public policies should ensure
social and economic justice, peace, and good government. The most interesting and challenging part of being an FCNL Contact
is addressing constituents' concerns in a way based
in a Quaker spiritual foundation. FCNL serves as a resource
for those who wish to influence national policy in that way. Want to get more involved?
