Voice Your Opinion
As a voter or future voter,
your voice matters to members of Congress, and to the
administration! Representatives and senators need to know
what their constituents think, so contact your congressional
members frequently and encourage your friends to do the
same.
The most effective way to convince your members of Congress
is to visit their offices in your home district or in
Washington, DC. Call to set up an appointment, and bring
a delegation of your friends and fellow peace supporters.
The next most effective way is to email, call or fax your members
of Congress. Email or fax your representatives and senators
directly from
the FCNL website and forward action alerts on to
your friends. Try setting-up a phone bank so that many
people can call. Give them a short script to read over
the phone and the phone number of their members of Congress.
It is easy to look up your congressional members' contact
information.
You can receive FCNL's monthly letter-writing kits by
signing-up on our web site. Letters should be sent to
congressional members' local offices, not their Washington
offices. To receive FCNL's legislative action messages
on a regular basis, sign up on our web site. |
