Helina Kassa goes to the University of Notre Dame, where she is studying Philosophy. She is super excited to get more involved in lobbying through FCNL Advocacy Corps, since she is interested in policy work and writing and wants to gain more experience. She is an avid supporter of FCNL values—especially as manifested in this year’s focus on Native American advocacy rights.
It brings her joy to be a part of an organization that fights for change and speaks up for voices that cannot be heard. She hopes that her time in FCNL allows her to strengthen her connections in politics and gain a greater understanding of the world.
