Michigan campaign to ban cluster bombs

In May most of the world agreed to ban cluster bombs. In July, the Pentagon announced that it would continue to use cluster bombs for the next ten years.

Michigan is key to the U.S. campaign to ban cluster bombs. Michigan Senator Carl Levin is the chair of the Senate Armed Service Committee, the specific Senate Committee that will have the most influence on whether or not the the Senate approves a cluster bomb ban.

Three Steps You Can Take

1. Urge your senator, Carl Levin, to cosponsor the Cluster Munitions
Civilian Protection Act (S. 594).
