Argentina, Belarus, Brazil, Iraq, Kazakhstan,
Libya, South Africa, South Korea, Taiwan, Ukraine:
The states in this category had, or were believed to have
had, active nuclear weapons programs. These states went
on to renounce-some voluntarily and some through force-such
activities.
