Hear first hand reports on the peace agenda, energy conservation policy options, and federal spending priorities. Learn the latest tips on lobbying Congress, how to raise these issues in your local community, and how to persuade candidates to address these issues.
Opportunities you'll have if you attend:
- What's on the agenda for 2008: Iraq war, energy conservation, budget priorities and more;
- Hear from David Goldstein, who has been instrumental in the development of energy efficiency standards for new buildings and appliances, and from Rep. John Lewis (GA), a leader in the U.S. civil rights movement.
- How to rise above the partisan rhetoric to advance FCNL’s agenda in 2008;
- What are the best ways to communicate with Congress? Find out from the people who know - congressional staff; members of Congress, and FCNL lobbyists
- Attend workshops on reaching out to other faith groups, media, and talking about FCNL;
