Have you ever wondered what it's like to be an FCNL volunteer?
Anne Ainswoth is FCNL's longest-serving volunteer. She's been volunteering since 1990! She and her delightful dog Ginger arrive at the FCNL office on Capitol Hill every Friday morning when Anne isn’t off to visit friends and family. Anne’s work consists of putting together materials to send to FCNL constituents.
Anne lived for many years in Bowie, MD and worked on Capitol Hill. She now lives in Riderwood Village, a retirement community not far from FCNL.
Become a Volunteer Yourself
Does Anne's work sound interesting? FCNL may have a place for you too. We are looking for volunteers who would be able to sit at the front desk, welcome visitors and delivery people, and help with mailings. We are particularly interested in people who would be willing to volunteer on a weekly basis. This position would be ideal for retired people or college students.
Some of FCNL's volunteers gather outside our building.
