FCNL is governed by a General Committee of 220 Friends, the majority of whom have been appointed by 26 Yearly Meetings and seven national Friends' organizations.
The General Committee meets each November to conduct business at FCNL's Annual Meeting. This business includes establishing legislative policy and priorities. Find out more about how FCNL's policy and priorities are established.
FCNL's General Committee approves a statement of legislative priorities every two years that determines lobbying priorities for the next two years. The executive and several other committees oversee the program and administration of FCNL between Annual Meetings.
