Maggie Porter
Communications Program Assistant
Maggie joined FCNL in August 2008 after graduating from Colgate University, where she majored in Peace and Conflict Studies and minored in French.
In the fall of 2006, Maggie spent a semester in Aix-en-Provence, France, where she studied French and International Relations and traveled throughout Europe. She spent the summer of 2007 living and working on an organic farm near Hilo, HI.
Maggie is from Baltimore, Maryland and moved to DC in August 2008. Her interests include: live music, traveling, reading, watching movies, learning foreign languages, and trying to translate her Peace Studies education into actual positive and peaceful change.
