Lacey Maurer
Program Assistant, Executive Secretary's Office
Lacey joined FCNL after graduating from the University of California, Davis, where she majored in History and French.
In 2008, Lacey spent five months studying in Bordeaux, France and traveling around Europe. She spent the summer of 2008 in Washington, DC as an intern in the office of Rep. Alcee Hastings. She worked on a number of issues including free and low-cost HIV/AIDS resources available to constituents, the Americans with Disabilities Act Amendments Act of 2008, animal rights, and the housing crisis.
Lacey is also a graduate of George School, a Quaker boarding school in Pennsylvania, which inspired her to learn more about Quakerism.
Lacey is passionate about traveling and spent time this summer in Israel. She also loves reading, visiting art museums, speaking French, and exploring DC on foot. Lacey is originally from Los Angeles, CA.
