Dan Allen
Legislative Program Assistant, Cluster Bombs, Landmines, Arms Trade
Dan joined FCNL in September of 2007 and is working with Lora Lumpe on conventional weapons issues. Before coming to FCNL, Dan graduated from Macalester College in St. Paul, MN with a degree in Political Science and Mathematics. During his senior year, Dan completed a senior thesis on the unequal influence of different states under the Electoral College.
Born in Waterloo, IA, Dan spent his entire childhood in the great state of Iowa. His interest in politics was spurred by his participation in high school debate and he subsequently volunteered for local congressional and presidential campaigns, and canvassed for both America Coming Together and Clean Water Action. He also served as an intern with the Minnesota House of Representatives.
In his free time, Dan enjoys consuming (and playing) many sports, traveling, and working on his Spanish.
